Our Mission

Giving back to the community, and
then some.

In this industry, you have to have heart. And we firmly believe you have to give some, too. It’s the very sentiment that defines how we approach our jobs and interact with our Clients.
Through Spare Some for Autism, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with ASD and their families in North Carolina, we share resources and affect autism legal reform through statewide collaboration and advocacy. In 2022 alone, we awarded over $14,000 in grants for Special Education teachers in the Wake County Public School System.

We hold a yearly swim clinic fundraiser led by competitive masters swimmer and three-time Olympic gold medalist Rowdy Gaines. For over 10 years, we’ve held our Sensitive Santa and Sensitive Bunny events at Crabtree Valley Mall. And we are the sole supporters of Cameron’s Mobile Sensory Vehicle, located at the PNC arena, to bring to special events across North Carolina, offering a calm experience to those people who are sensitive to over stimulation, yet want to be a part of what’s happening.

At the Unicorn Group, we are passionate about inclusion for all—in the workplace and in life. Sure, we’re in business to earn a living. But to us, earning a living is a means to an end. And in the end, our business is all about people. And we think that’s pretty magical.
